Year 5 enjoyed finding out what it was like to be evacuated, making do and mending and hiding in mock air raids.
Year 5 and 6 took part in a very informative careers morning today. They asked a range of adults great questions about their careers and professions. They were really inspired by their visitors.
Year 5 started their mini medic training today. What a fantastic skills based experience to have. They looked at what should be in a first aid kit, DR ABC, using a defibrillator, the recovery position, choking, asthma, wounds and bleeding, cuts and calling for an ambulance. Thanks to Rob from RJM Adventure for the sessions.
Year 5 had a great afternoon celebrating their love of reading and cake at our Book Cafe. It was entirely organised by the children and showcased what a fabulous bunch of book lovers they are. Thank you very much to our visitors for coming.
