Year 5 Tower of a London comprehension and spelling ‘Now-press – play- style’! Thank you PTA we love it !
Year 5 had a great day out to find out about the life of William Shakespeare in Stratford 🎭. Thank you to all of the staff and helpers for coming along. We couldn’t have done it without you. The children will sleep well tonight 💤 !

This week, Year 5 have been helping Macbeth to realise the consequences of his actions using thought tracking and conscious alley. The children have already written letters from Macbeth to Lady Macbeth and this week they inferred how Lady Macbeth was feeling through hot seating to write a diary entry. Fantastic work Year 5!
Year 5 worked very hard on their snowman enterprise project for the Christmas Fair, raising a whopping £172 for the class. They have decided to donate some of the money to the Children’s Society charity. Well done Year 5!
Year 5 enjoyed finding out what it was like to be evacuated, making do and mending and hiding in mock air raids.
Year 5 and 6 took part in a very informative careers morning today. They asked a range of adults great questions about their careers and professions. They were really inspired by their visitors.
Year 5 started their mini medic training today. What a fantastic skills based experience to have. They looked at what should be in a first aid kit, DR ABC, using a defibrillator, the recovery position, choking, asthma, wounds and bleeding, cuts and calling for an ambulance. Thanks to Rob from RJM Adventure for the sessions.
