In Maths, we have been learning about repeating patterns. We chose two or three different coloured bears and made a pattern that keeps repeating!
We have been reading the story of ‘Little Red Hen’ and wanted to make our own bread. We weighed out the ingredients, mixed them together and kneaded our dough. We then each made a cottage roll and put it into the oven to bake. The smell was amazing! We took them home to share with […]
In Welly Wednesday, we had to find as many leaves as we could and decide on what we wanted to make – a leaf necklace, bracelet or crown. Then we had to hole punch holes in the leaves and with an adult’s help, thread the leaves onto the string. We really enjoyed it!
We were visited by Road Safety Kate this week who taught us the importance of crossing the road safely. She taught us to put on our thinking hat, our listening ears, our looking eyes, to stop at the kerb and to always hold our adult’s hand when crossing the road.
In our Ofsted report, one action was to improve the outdoor facilities for our Nursery and Reception children; work that we had already started to undertake before their visit! After some hard work and careful expenditure, the outdoor area is almost complete! It looks amazing and more importantly, the children love using it!
