Year 1 and Year 2 have been working on how wonderful and unique they are!
Year 1 and Year 2 have been learning about Florence Nightingale as their ICON this week. They finished the week by making hospital beds using junk modelling materials as part of their work in DT. Don’t they look fab!!
All the staff entered into the spirit of dressing up as an ICON, ranging from Audrey Hepburn, Queen Elizabeth I, Emily Pankhurst and even a surprise visit from Red Rum!
In art in our fabulous Y3/4 class, we worked in teams and made fruit faces inspired by the artist Giuseppe Arcimboldi. A big thank you to all the parents who sent in fruit to make this lesson possible. The results were amazing. Well done.!
Year 3 have started the year by reading ‘Silly Billy’ by Antony Browne. The children have talked about their own worries and made their own worry dolls!
