We started our term being archaeologists with some possible Anglo-Saxon remains. Where did it come from? It led us to researching the digestive system and writing the journey of food from our mouth to its final destination.
We will find out all about life in Anglo Saxon times including place names, village life, clothes and religion.
In art, we are designing our own Saxon outfits and making our own brooches.
In English, we are studying studied ‘Beowulf’ and have written our own Anglo Saxon myth.
Year 4 are really looking forward to showing you their assembly!
Linking to Geography, we will think about early settlements and land use, economic activity including trade links, and the distribution of natural resources including food and water.
